We were booked on a Iberia flight for both trips, we got a full service American Airlines for trip from NYC to Madrid but for Barcelona to NYC we were put on a low cost budget airlines with bad seats, the ac was not working and had to pay for very poor quality food and drinks. The crew from the BCN - NYC leg was not comfortable with English so it was very difficult to communicate. The checkin was a nightmare with having to checkin on the LEVEL counter with no clear instructions, flight was delayed because of some technical issues, food was poor, had to wait for over an hour for the luggage to be delivered on our carrousel in the midnight. Overall extremely poor experience and disappointed.
