Etihad Airways flights from Doha to Islamabad (DOH - ISB)

Not sure why, but somehow, my daughter’s ticket was bought such that it did not allow any checked baggage’s. This is quite ironic because this is an international flight is not going from Sister city to another Sister city it is going from one continent to a very different continent. How is it assumed that a person will not have any luggage.? I never even knew that international flights could have such a policy where there are tickets that would not have checked luggage included seriously?! At the counter when we learned this the amount of money they were asking for to check the bags was $260 each bag. For two bags that’s slightly more than what I paid for the return ticket. They could have charged $100 or $125 for each bag just like when the bag is over weight. This is extremely ridiculous., very disappointed, especially when the crew at the airport was not even cooperative in coming up with some solution. My daughter had told myself flight and is now flying back via Qatar Airways. Extremely disappointed with Etihad airways.

Bare essentials for relatively short flight

Excellent all around. Most comfortable seats in economy I’ve ever experienced. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating in all respects.
