Located in Southern California, Santa Ana, is the second most densely populated city in Orange County and it has been ranked as the fourth safest city in the US. When to fly to Santa Ana

Peak Season:

The warm and dry summer months extend from June to September, when the temperatures reach a daytime high of 28 °C. Most schools in California have their summer breaks from June to August. Holidays in the summer means more visitors and competitive prices everywhere.

Off Season:

The winter months from December to March have an average daytime high of 21°C. Most of the rainfall occurs from November to April.

Shoulder Season: 

The months of April, May and September are usually great months to travel with less crowds and good weather.

Getting around Santa Ana

The Orange County Transportation Authority runs regular buses in and around Santa Ana and to other places in Orange County. Make use of the free trolley that runs to the central area on selected days. A network of Amtrak and Metrolink rail service provides affordable rail service to the major attractions in and around the Orange County area.
