Comfortable seats, good entertainment and nice crew. The flight was good so I could sleep from time to time.
The flight was supposed to have one stop in Dubai. But the return route was changed so we had 2 stops, one in Dubai and another one in New York with long hours until the next connection. I arrived in Seattle a day later which made me lose a working day.
Comfortable seats, enough space for legs, helpful crew, We were offered a voucher to stay in a hotel close to the airport to get a few hours of sleep or relaxation. The voucher included lunch and dinner with good food..
I didn't like the long delay to stay in the airport on hard chairs before leaving Cape Town. The delay affected all the other connections with long periods of stay in the airports. The whole flight was rough, being shaken all the time.
Everything was good.
We wheelchair passengers were also asked to stand in line for boarding at the gate

no window seats were available just some time after check in was open(at least when i got notification). Got airplane ears- pressure issue. This has never happened to me before.

The boarding process took FOREVER. I arrived three hours before my flight and barely made it to the gate in time for boarding and there was no waiting as all to pass through the security checkpoint. Emirates simply was understaffed on Jan 7th 2022. More importantly, the flight crew made very little effort to enforce the mask requirement and the result was everywhere you look you could see passengers with their mask not covering their nose, and then after seating many didn't have the mask covering their mouth either. It was a total health hazard. Unacceptable.
Crew were great, entertainment was great, all in all a really comfortable flight despite not getting an aisle seat which would have made it even better
I discovered when I hit Dubai that despite having an eight an a half hour layover that I didn't qualify for the free hotel I thought I did qualify for as someone with an eight hour plus flight so that was a little disappointing have had it before so assumed it was on all flights but that ended up being a negative surprise...
