Most visitors from Qatar need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result and/or quarantine to enter Cape Verde.COVID-19 testing requirementsVisitors from Qatar must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 72 hours for RT-PCR (NAAT) and 48 hours for Antigen (quick-test) before departing to Cape Verde.
Quarantine requirementsVisitors from Qatar are not required to quarantine after entering Cape Verde.
DocumentsHealth Declaration Form - All travelers are required to fill out an international health form online before departure to Cape Verde.
Pre-registration Form - Travelers must fill the pre-registration form online, preferably 5 days before travel to Cape Verde. This requirement does not apply to travelers under the age of 2 and travelers who are residents in Cape Verde.
Health Declaration Form For Inter-island Travelers - Inter-island travelers will need to complete an online health surveillance form.
Airport Security Tax Form - Travelers must submit the Airport Security Tax Form (TSA) and pay 3,400 escudos (approximately £30). If you’re traveling with a tour operator, check whether the cost of the TSA is included in your package. This requirement does not apply to travelers under the age of 2 and travelers who are residents in Cape Verde.
Health Pass for Public Activity - Travelers are required to present a health pass before checking in to hotels and other tourist accommodations and when participating in a large sporting, cultural, recreational, and social gathering.
The health pass consists of one of the following:
1. Proof of vaccination
2. Proof of a COVID-19 negative test
3. Proof of recovery from COVID-19
Citizens and residents in Cape Verde may check if eligible for a COVID certificate issued by Cape Verde.
This requirement does not apply to travelers under the age of 18 accompanied by their parents.
