When is the best time to fly to Tivat?
Tivat is said to be the sunniest town on the Bay of Kotor, and with over 240 days of sunshine each year it certainly lives up to the claim. Temperatures rarely drop below 15°C thanks to the mild Mediterranean type climate, so Tivat is an excellent choice at any time of year.

Getting around Montenegro
Walking is the easiest way to get around Tivat, but taxis are available if you want to make the trip up to Gornja Lastva or take a drive to Herceg Novi. There are also ferries and charter boats should you wish to visit the islands near Tivat.
Getting from the Airport to the City
Travellers who take a flight to Tivat Airport (TIV) will find the centre of town just 2 miles (3 km) away. There are car rental outlets at the airport if you wish to drive.
